Aches Away Bath & Body Oil
Our 100% natural oils are wonderful when rubbed into your skin, especially if you’ve got someone else to do it for you! They can also be used in the bath, or after a bath or shower to lock in moisture to the skin.
Essential oils of marjoram, rosemary and lavender soothe away aches and pains, and ease muscle cramps. This blend helps to increase the flow of blood to the muscles and can help with rheumatic aches and pains, as well as strains and sprains brought on by over-exertion.
- Marjoram – promoting health in many different ways, marjoram is especially good for dealing with painful muscles.
Due to its warming action, marjoram can also be useful for rheumatic aches and pains, especially where there is
a feeling of cold and stiffness
- Rosemary – has an energising and activating effect on the brain and seems to revive the senses. Rosemary’s pain-relieving qualities can be helpful in cases of gout, rheumatic pains, and tired or over-worked muscles
- Lavender – the pain-relieving actions of lavender can effectively deal with muscular spasm and is good for strains,
sprains and rheumatic pains
Massage into your skin after a bath or shower to help lock moisture into the skin. Alternatively, have someone massage it into your skin for you as part of traditional massage
Prunus amygdalus dulcis (almond) oil, essential oils of Origanum marjorana (marjoram), Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary), Lavendula angustifolia (lavender)
Please note: rosemary is highly stimulating, and so may not be suitable for people with epilepsy or high blood pressure.
Also best avoided during pregnancy.
