The base formula used for making our herbal soaps contains a blend of moisturising natural oils, with added shea butter, to create a rich nourishing soap.
Marigold is well-known as being a soothing herb. The blend of marigold with bergamot give this soap an antiseptic and healing quality beneficial to skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, etc. The subtle, uplifting scent can help to refresh the mind, and can help to alleviate stress.
- Shea butter - the healing qualities of shea butter are due to the presence of several fatty acids and plant sterols,
namely oleic, stearic, palmitic and linolenic acids which lend their anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant qualities
to the butter. The addition of shea butter means our soaps aren’t as drying as some commercial soaps can be.
- Coconut oil – this oil is amazingly moisturising to the skin. It also helps to create a soap which keeps its firmness
whilst also producing a rich and fluffy lather.
- Marigold - helps to stimulate the body’s immune system to fight off infection. Marigold rapidly promotes the
healing and repair of skin tissues, is anti-inflammatory, and minimises scar formation. Useful for skin problems like
eczema, psoriasis and nappy rash.
- Bergamot - the sedative yet uplifting scent is excellent for relieving anxiety, depression and nervous tension.
Bergamot’s antiseptic and healing action make it useful for skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and
